This event is held over two full days with a rich agenda. This year, the highlighted destination is the Magallanes region of Chile.

Expolagos Patagonia brings together hotels, ski resorts, airlines, ground transportation, hostels, boutique hotels, thermal centers, receptive operators, sports centers, adventure programs, glamping, huts, vacation centers, SPA & Health, cruises, helicopter tours, ski centers, artisans, tourism offices, and more. It’s crucial for tourists to be educated and learn about the importance of Chilean glaciers, gaining a real understanding of the ecosystems they visit. We aim to work together with tourism organizations, providing them with the necessary tools to comprehend the importance of glaciers, which can then be conveyed to tourists. We will offer training and development proposals for the various participating companies and organizations, with the goal of spreading glacial knowledge to their audiences.

As Glaciares Chilenos Foundation, promoting and preventing towards responsible tourism is essential. Responsible tourism should be ecologically and culturally friendly, involving all parties: communities, companies, and tourists. This includes creating activities that have minimal impact on nature, learning to protect the region’s biodiversity, and utilizing its natural resources sustainably, which will provide a completely different and rewarding experience.

It’s essential for organizations, companies, and individuals to take responsibility for our actions and the impact we create when traveling, in order to achieve sustainable and nature-conscious tourism development.

Further information regarding days, schedules and streaming platforms on www.expolagos.com or @expolagos Instagram account.

We are very happy to announce our participation in the 2021 edition of Expolagos Patagonia, which will take place on November 8th and 9th in two virtual sessions, with significant participation from various organizations and stakeholders in the tourism sector.
